Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy explains when payments made on Astronath (website and app) can be cancelled or refunded, and how to ask for a refund.

For business reviewThis is a draft. Every time window, eligibility rule and timeline below is a proposal and must be approved by the business (and ideally a lawyer) before it is published.

1. What this policy covers

Astronath currently charges only for the following:

• Coin packs: digital coins credited to your Astronath wallet, used to chat with Tara, our AI astrologer.
• Premium: included with some coin packs for a fixed number of days; it lowers the coin price of each Tara message.

Kundli, horoscope, matchmaking, numerology, Panchang, muhurat and dosh tools are free, so there is nothing to refund for them. Astronath does not currently sell astrologer consultations, appointments or physical products.

2. Duplicate payments

If you were charged more than once for the same order (for example after pressing Pay twice or a network retry), the extra payment will be refunded in full to the original payment method once we confirm it in our payment records.

3. Failed payments where money was debited

Sometimes a payment fails or times out after your bank has already debited the money. In most such cases the bank or payment network reverses the debit automatically. If the money has not come back, contact us with the details in section 9. We will check the payment with our payment provider, Razorpay, and either credit your coins or refund the amount.

If your payment succeeded but coins did not appear, open the payment result page or your wallet and use “Confirm payment”, or contact us. Coins are credited only after our server confirms the payment with Razorpay.

4. Coin packs

• Coins are delivered instantly to your wallet after the payment is confirmed. They are a prepaid credit for Tara AI chat on Astronath only and have no cash value.
• Unused purchased coins: you may ask for a refund of a coin pack if none of its coins have been spent, within 7 days of purchase.
• Partly used packs: coins already spent are not refundable.
• Free coins (welcome bonus, referral rewards, rewarded ads, pack bonuses, first-recharge bonuses and promotions) are not refundable and are removed if the purchase they came with is refunded.

For business reviewProposed: 7-day refund window for packs with no coins spent; no refunds for partly used packs. Approve the window and the rule, or replace them.

5. Premium

Premium starts as soon as a pack that includes it is confirmed and runs for the number of days shown at checkout. Premium is not paused or extended if you don't use it.

For business reviewProposed: Premium is non-refundable once active, except where it could not be used because of a fault on our side. If the pack is refunded under section 4, Premium ends at the same time. Confirm.

6. Tara AI chat

Each Tara message costs the number of coins shown before you send it. If Tara cannot answer because of a technical error, the coins for that message are returned to your wallet automatically.

Coins spent on answers that were delivered are not refundable on the grounds of disagreement with the astrological content. Astrology is interpretive and provided for guidance only.

7. Digital reports

Reports such as kundli, horoscope and matchmaking results are currently free and generated instantly, so no refund applies. If paid reports are introduced, their delivery and refund rules will be shown before purchase and added here.

8. Consultations, appointments and physical products

Astronath does not currently offer paid consultations, appointments or physical products, so there are no rules for cancellation, rescheduling, missed appointments or returns. If these are introduced, this policy will be updated before they go on sale.

9. How to ask for a refund

Email our support team (address below) or use the form on this page, which prepares the email for you. Please include:

• The phone number you sign in with
• Razorpay order ID (order_…) and payment ID (pay_…), shown on the payment result page and in Razorpay's email/SMS
• Date and amount of the payment
• What went wrong, and a screenshot of the bank debit if money was taken but coins were not credited

10. Review and processing time

• We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and tell you the decision within 7 business days.
• Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through Razorpay. After we process a refund, banks usually take 5 to 7 business days to show it.
• Refunds are approved by Astronath after review. Razorpay processes refunds we initiate; it does not decide whether a refund is due.

For business reviewProposed timelines: acknowledge in 2 business days, decide in 7 business days. Also decide whether payment-gateway charges are deducted from refunds (this draft assumes the full amount is refunded).
